TS (Pressed Steel)
This is a basic and most widely usedtapered roller bearings, which includes the two main separable parts: conecombination and the outer ring. They are often pairedmounting.
Tapered roller bearings are uniquelydesigned to manage both thrust and radial loads on rotating shafts and inhousings. We manufacture nearly 26,000 tapered roller bearing combinations – insingle, double and four-row tapered roller bearing configurations. Customizedgeometries and engineered surfaces can be applied to these tapered rollerbearings to further enhance performance in demandingapplications.
Tapered roller bearings consist offour interdependent components: the cone, or inner ring; the cup, or outer ring;the tapered rollers, or rolling elements; and the cage, or roller retainer. Thetaper angles allow the bearing to handle a combination of radial and thrustloads. The steeper the cup angle, the greater the ability of the tapered rollerbearing to handle thrust loads.
